Lezlie Tripathy ; The Thinking Man's Actress

Lezlie Tripathy is one of the leading actresses of ‘W’. The trail-blazing movie is directed by Tarun Chopra. The movie is slated to release in May 2013. Brought up in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, Lezlie is already a celebrity in the literary landscape as a poet and author of a Poetry anthology, ‘Because I Am a Girl’. Lezlie’s nickname is Gogol (named after Russian Writer Nikolai Gogol) was born to a family of Educationists; mother Ashoka Tripathy was a teacher now a home-maker, her father, Dr.Sailendra Narayan Tripathy is a professor, Columnist and one of the popular Indian English Poets of the 80’s, who blazed a new trail in English Poetry. Brother Shakexpear King is a model turned actor. She studied journalism from Asian College of Journalism, Chennai. Has penned articles and has been actively involved in crusading for Women’s Empowerment and voicing support for the voiceless and the underdogs.

Lezlie is a recipient of 8 Governor Awards, State Rajiv Gandhi Samaan, Youth Icon Award, Fun Fearless Female Icon for her respective excellence in Academics and contribution to Arts, Culture, Social Service, Activism against Injustice and Women’s Rights.  She is the Editor of PII (Poesie India International) a journal devoted to ‘Peace through Poetry’. She is the Youth Ambassador for Polio Eradication Campaign for Rotary Club Heritage. As Youth Ambassador of Prerana, she has planted around 550 saplings for a Greener India. Youth Ambassador for Literary Journal ‘Eternity’. Spokesperson for Welfare Organizations like World Vision, Asha, in their campaigns for Education for All, Green Movement, Empowering Girl Child. Lezlie has vowed to campaign for women till they have a rightful place under the sun rather than being used as iconic metaphors.

Leslie Tripathy is an epitome of Strength,is very obvious when anybody tries to make her speak her mind on the tragic times she had post the news became public of a criminal fan stalking her and how after her formal complaint to the police,the psycho fan would go to limits to either marry her if not destroy her,following a fall from her gracious top spot,sure its a topic she prefers never to answer or discuss,the supremely private,shy Superstar never discusses her private life though I've sources who claim to have few answers to my queries based on the curious interst of her fans ,so here's some quotes to some questions of our own that has dodged her life and career,she with her indomitabiltity spirit says,''It doesn't feel like a tickle.
